LeafClan, StreamClan, and BlazeClan are the clans that rule this land. In a forest much different from the one we know in the Warriors™ series, these three clans compete and work for their success. Winter is coming, and the clans are preparing for another long season. However, they don't realize that their biggest threat is not the weather. Not even close. A semi-nomadic group of rogue cats, the Redfangs, have gone undetected in the forest for twelve years now. They are a group with diverse talents in life and dangerous skills in battle. They have made a plan to take their place in the forest and start a new era in the history of their kind.

When both medicine cats get a prophecy seasons before the real thing, they don't believe it's real. But when North Korea nukes America's beloved state, Washington, it feels all too close to home. But the poisonous water, waves, fire, radiation, and loss of kin isn't the hardest thing these Clan cats have to deal with. The flesh-craving, virus-carrying, spine-tingling killers are back - thanks to the nuke - for every cats blood and sanity and they won't stop until everyone's either dead or insane.
