The child wrinkled her nose in confusion, "so she helps everyone?" "No..this sorceress is not kind like the few you have met through your father. She wishes for nothing more than destruction." "why?" "No one knows my dear child. Nor do we wish to cross paths with her even if it means to discover why." "But..wouldn't it help to ask her?" "It is not that simple dear. one day you will understand." The child hummed a bit, "okay." The room plunged into silence. "Hey mama?" "Yes dear?" "What is that ladies name?" The mother shook her head slightly, "No one knows, not really. She is shrouded in darkness, her identity a mystery besides the rumors that float around her. But they call her Sin." The little girl cocked her head to the side, "and what did Sin do with her magic if she didn't help people with her power?" At this the mother blanched, "She became the greatest assassin that ever lived."

Rose is sent on a spy mission with two other guardians to gather information on a secret opposition group. The mission, however, is a risky one, and things don't end up going as planned... I took a deep breath and told myself that Christian didn't notice anything about me, but, what if Lissa does? I can't seem to shake this feeling of her not treating me the same way she always does if she sees me like this. I felt the atmosphere thicken with shock, hate, and above all sadness. They were all coming through the bond. How could I compete with telling her a lie when I knew how she felt? What if she turns me away because I shut her out for the past two months? "Before anyone says anything I think we should say Rose had her reasons for leaving and is here to stay, right?" Christian asked. Breathe. Just breath. She needs to see you. "Why did you leave?" Lissa asked "I had a mission." She looked me up and down and shook her head. "It's true! My mom and I were assigned to protect a guy over in Turkey." "Yeah okay. I guess that's why you wouldn't talk to me for four whole days then just up and disappeared!" Tears shown in her green eyes and I hated that I was hurting her so badly. "Lissa. Please. I can't tell you anything else. " "Save it Rose! You know I did everything just to find you and I couldn't get a single trace! You left me when I was in a vulnerable state, Rose! " "Lissa don't turn this back to you! It's not about you! Everything isn't always about you! Yes, I shouldn't have left but I did. What do you want me to do? Apologize over and over? I think I'm already doing that!" "You shouldn't have left and not tell me!" She yelled. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Plot: Rose had left the Academy, say what!? Well, two months prior to leaving, Rose had found out some horrible news that would ultimately shift her world forever. The more she keeps it all in the more it all will tear her apart. Let's not forget about Dimitri and the gang. They are vehemently worried about her, will she let them in and tell them what is going on? Or will she keep it all locked inside that it will destroy her whole life?

Rose is just beginning to cope with Dimitri leaving to go with Tasha Ozera to become her guardian. But, in a random act of love, Dimitri spends the night with Rose; knowing that he would have to leave as soon as they had spent the night together. After leaving unannounced, Dimitri finds himself regretting his choice to leave Rose; and even though Tasha doesn't want the two to be together, she takes off of work when the two receive a letter from Rose that held a small plastic tube, and a picture. (Lissa is Queen, bond never broke, and Rose is her Guardian.) (My version of the story.
