Johanna Mason is a seventeen year old girl who is reaped for her District on the 68th annual Hunger Games. She is forced to go to the arena, which she fights to the death in. From District 7- lumber- and her special weapon is throwing axes. Competing for her own life in the harsh pine forest, Johanna is fighting with the last breath in her body, determined to make it back home, but to whom?

It has been a century since the rebellion, and the Capitol still wants revenge... As it is the Fourth Quarter Quell, there will be four games held this year. One will be held with twenty-four children reaped from Districts One to Four. The second will have twenty-four children reaped from Districts Five to Eight. The third will have twenty-four children reaped only from Districts Nine to Twelve. There will be six tributes reaped from each of the twelve Districts, and eight people will win each of the three Games giving us twenty-four finalists to take part in the Ultimate Games where only one will prevail victorious. Overall, seventy one children will die in this years Hunger Games and one will survive. May the odds be EVER in your favour....

What would happen if Katniss hadn't won the games? Well the rebellion never happened and the games continued on. This year, it's time for the 4th quarter quell and the capitol has a big surprise for the districts. There will be three games. The first game will consists of district 1-6. 3 males and 3 females will be reaped from each district to participate. 12 of the 36 will move in to a final game. Then the second game will consist of district 7-12. 3 males and 3 females will also be reaped. Again 12 of the 36 will move on to a final game. The final game will consist of the tributes that survived the first and second games. From there the tributes will battle until a lone victor remains. May the odds be ever in your favour...

Families all around Panem crowd around the T.V. for the mandatory viewing of the Quarter Quell announcement. President Thalissa Snow approaches the Podium. "Hello Panem. Welcome to the reading of the 125th hunger games, 5th quarter quell announcement." A beaming little girl with blond pigtails hands her an envelope. "To remind the districts that they knew that the rebellion might split families apart but they still chose to rebel, two siblings of any gender will be reaped. Then, they both have to agree on one person to join them in the games. There will be no volunteering. Also this year there can be two victors but only if they are from the same district. At the end of the reapings we shall have our 36 tributes! Happy hunger games and may the odds be ever in your favor..."

Five friends. One game. The rebellion has reached it's peak, the Districts aren't taking no for an answer, the Capitol is defenseless and the games are still on. It's been settled, The Hunger Games will continue but the children of the Capitol will adopt the sickening tradition of the infamous "Fight to the Death" between the selected tributes from all Secondary schools in the Capitol. But this year is the 100th Annual Quarter Quell, and as we may all know, the Quell's are known for their special edition of the games. To mark off 75 years of biased and unlawful deaths of innocent children the Capitol inflicted, the Districts will be hosting this year's games. Clothing the tributes, training them, sponsoring them, and even designing the arena. All 13 Districts constructed one arena that will be created into a mini version of Panem, and will exemplify each of the District's industry. This years Quell will be "The Amazing Race". There are 13 sectiles that will stand for each District in Panem. The sectiles in the arena will be locked for a limited amount of time until a certain number of tributes are killed. Then the next sectile will be activated to enter. If the time runs out before the enough tributes are killed, a tragedy will occur in that particular arena. The last two tributes will enter the final sectile. After a gruesome fight, a lone Victor will remain. Did I mention that this year 36 tributes will be reaped? Did I also mention that this year's prize will promise safe and security in an exquisite home in the District of the Victor's choice?.
