She is to move in with her uncle in the bustling city of New York, New York. And within that city is an increased number of gang activity. Why must Esmeralda make the sudden change in her life? She was unfortunate enough to lose the one person who knew her inside and out, her mother. After moving in to the large city, the wrong things start to cross Esmeralda's path, things that her nor her parents would ever want to have her witness. But what can she do? Her father seems to be completely oblivious to having a daughter and her uncle is overbearing to the point to where it's suffocating. She's trying to find something to distract her from her loss.
