"I dreamed only of death . . . instead they offered me revenge and for my sins, I accepted." - Captain Liam McKenna. It is the year 2069 and Britain is in the midst of a Vampyre epidemic. The world has closed its borders to the island nation and there is no escape. The corrupt and dictatorial government which now only serves the rich and powerful has long ceded control of the northern and western parts of the country over to darkness of the undead. The British army fights day and night to stem back the tide of the Vampyre advance. It is a fierce, bloody and deadly war, a war which the humans are very clearly losing. There is little hope left and to most of them, it seems as if it's only a matter of time before the Vampyres take over entirely. In the Capital of London however, a scientist has convinced a group of powerful individuals that he has the answer. In their desperation, a last ditch plan is strung together and with few options available and time quickly running out, they offer a suicidal Captain the chance of redemption and revenge . . .

Hey all! Exactly what the title says! My Blog - which basically will allow you to experience my daily thoughts, opinions and rants - although hopefully not too many of the latter! Unless I'm drunk, then I can guarantee nothing . . . Why would you want to read such things? I have no idea! But you are the one reading this so who am I, to challenge your taste? Which brings me to my first blog post/chapter - A poem I wrote about half an hour ago called 'Who are we?' Why did I write it? What does it mean? I don't really know yet! But enjoy! Or don't enjoy it . . Whichever you prefer! :) "Make your dreams bold and your ideas outlandish, anything less is a waste of imagination." - R.S. Sheehan

Britain in 2062 is a Corporatocracy ruled by the few over the many. The country is divided into thirteen color coded zones all of which are governed by the Gold Zone, that surrounds the capital of London. People are given a social status depending on the zone they are born in and any rising or objection to this status is punished severely. The corporation rules both by force and fear and it does it with a bloody iron fist. The only freedom, is the illusion of freedom. In this nation of chaos lives Julia an innocent sixteen year old who is sentenced to four years de-radicalization after her father is convicted with very little evidence of terrorism against the state by a technicality. After losing everything in one night, Julia wakes up in a brutal detention center determined for revenge but before she even can think of such things, soon the reality dawns that first she is gonna have to learn to survive alone, in a violent authoritarian state, that has brutally crushed even the most formidable of its political opponents. Her only hope is to be severely underestimated.
