Mark is an amateur genealogist, obsessed with finding out the details of his great, great, great Grandfathers enigmatic life. Over the course of a long, hot summer, Mark's obsession deepens to such a level that his ancestor's spirit begins to lead him on a journey of redemption, whilst his own life crashes around him, until Mark begins to question what is reality and what could be his own mental collapse.
