"I would like for you to be my bride," he said. "Wear my ring and give me your answer when you have it, but I promise you it will be the one I want. I am going to make you fall so deeply in love with me you won't be able to live without my touch." ~ ♡ ~ Nadine never imagined she would marry a god. Every year, her village drowns a sacrifice for protection against the Dios War--a war between the gods. This year, Nadine is chosen, but on the day of her death, Gardus, the sky god himself, saves her from drowning. He proclaims Nadine as his betrothed and whisks her away to live with him in the sky. Although flattered by Gardus' flashy and seductive courtship, Nadine worries about his motives for wedding her. As she lives among the divine, Nadine attempts to discover why the gods are fighting. Instead, she discovers it's the wild and cute wind god, and not Gardus, that is starting to win her heart. However, when Water God Yirrel hears one of his sacrifices escaped him, saved by the very deity he hates, the war on earth shifts to the sky. This time, Yirrel will make sure Nadine drowns. Meet Joe Nobody . . . and pray he never meets you. He's average height, with an average build, and average looks - an instantly forgettable face in the crowd. Joe also happens to be a hit man, quite possibly one of the best in the world. He's so good, in fact, that most of his work life has settled into a comfortable routine, where everything goes according to plan, and nothing at all is surprising anymore. He's been just about everywhere, and he's seen it all. But Joe hasn't seen everything. Not yet . . . **WARNING** - This work contains several curse words and some extremely violent themes and situations throughout. I mean, the main character is a hit man . . . there's your first sign. You've been warned. **ADDITIONAL WARNING** - This is soooooooo first-draft-ish, so any problems you see logistically, thematically, or grammatically are all the fault of a combination of absinthe and overzealous fingers. And please, for god's sake, if you see something glaringly wrong, tell me about it! :)

[NaNoWriMo Attempt] Based on my popular short story, Murder Day is about a society gone wrong. Once a year the law stands still, the streets become a warzone and nobody is safe. Delve into a world where morality is skewed and right and wrong aren't quite as simple to differentiate between. In a world where black and white don't exist, where everything's a little grey, get lost in the mystery and excitement that represent the most gluttinous holiday of the year -- Murder Day.

Pandora Paige Alexander is the main focus of what the government has cleverly named the P. P. A. Project. The project is a series of government run facilities, tests and inspections to learn and replicate a rare condition Pandora has lived with for more than 90 years and yet still has the face of a 17 year old. But what Pandora didn't expect after all these years of tests and questions is that there is more to her than simply a rare genetic condition but the key between this world and another.

In a world... Where star-crossed lovers guarantee sales and novels lack all novelty... Comes a story so generic that it will appeal to everyone of every generation forever... The story of a ruggedly handsome man of indeterminate age, named Guy who meets an exquisitely beautiful recently-come-of-age woman, named Eve. It's love at first sight, but one of them has a secret... A secret so big that it will tear them apart forever... Or will it? The world may never know, because this is not that book. This book is clever and will appeal to a specific audience. People who like witty humor and realistic characters. People who like a large dose of laughter in their sci-fi. Wherein: Liam Gatley is—was a normal, just-trying-to-get-by-with-as-little-effort-as-possible university student. But he’s just woken up from a birthday bender in a recruiting office, and before he can even figure out what’s happened, he’s rushed aboard the (in)famous ISS Titan to hunt down interstellar pirates as a proud—and completely expendable—member of the Imperial Space Corps. Suddenly it’s hard to imagine life being any worse . . . It turns out Liam just needs a better imagination. On his first day, Liam is shot, stabbed, crushed, electrocuted, asphyxiated, and drowned. It gets even worse when the Titan runs afoul of a telepathic mutant who turns the ship’s own crew against her. Now Liam’s talent at not-quite-dying might save the day, but he’ll still have to lose his mind to survive. And if he can manage that, he’ll have to battle an overzealous military commander whose ambition threatens the entire Interstellar Human Empire. If he ever hopes to make it home again, Liam will have to risk everything to save the empire. On the bright side, he may just get the girl in the process.
