He finally decides that he's out stayed his welcome at Avengers tower and decides it time to go. This story follows Clint trying to create a new life without the baggage of his past and keeping the memories at bay. While the other Avengers find out how little they really knew about Hawkeye and how much they need him.

He is the victim of a terrible firebombing that leaves him with third degree burns on his arms and severely damaged eyesight. Who should save him but the one and only Iron Man? Iron Man brings him to SHIELD, where he is forcibly thrust into service as a SHIELD agent who is given the job of his life with the girl of his dreams and his ex-mentor, whom he can't stand. Together, they must join forces to defeat the one and only Crossfire. But there are hardships along the way and Hawkeye's life will never be the same. Part 2 Two years after the events at Cross Technological Enterprises, Clint is a married man. He's happy, or so it would seem. But when Agent Coulson gives Clint his latest assignment, to find and locate the contract killer known only as the Black Widow, things begin to get complicated, and Clint finds himself turning his back on all that he held dear in order to save Black Widow from her horrifying past.
