Jason and Cruz started 'the hot list' and now every guy in school has contributed. The hot list orders the top 20 hottest girls in school and what guys like about them. Oh did I forget to mention it's located on a wall in the guys bathroom. Gross.... The boys kept this list a secret from the girls and teachers, the only outsider who knew was the janitor but he knew better then to mess with the hot list. It started out as simple fun, Jason and Cruz messing around like always, but now every guys in school has rated at least one girl or has commented on the wall at least once. What would happen if an unsuspecting girl found or heard about the hot list? Would it become a competition to be on the stupid little list? Girls who would have never made it before are now on the list as number 1?

In letters to "Emily Rose," an expectant mother chronicles the nine months leading up to her daughter's birth. The journey begins with the word "pregnant" in late autumn and continues through three more seasons, two small towns, and many unforeseeable challenges. Through it all, those little kicks and flutters give her a warm sense of direction in a world that can be, at times, cold and unpredictable. By documenting her experiences, this mother hopes to preserve the precious memories, and make peace with her mistakes and the things she cannot change. And someday she will share this story with Emily Rose, when she, too, is faced with the challenge of becoming a woman and mother. This story was originally published on the parenting blog, http://sisterschance.blogspot.com (see External Link). Ready for a new adventure, it became @Fairytale_Fabler's icebreaker piece at the start of her Wattpad enterprise and it has since been listed on the Stories4Mom reading list. Soon after the "Little Peach" Mother's Day update, it became a Wattpad Featured Story. And like mother and child, their true story even has a story, one that began as a good idea (and a unique opportunity for self-reflection) and developed over the years into something stronger and wiser. Thank you for such overwhelming love and support. @nonfiction / WOMEN'S VOICES reading list

#1 Teen Fiction | #1 Young Adult | #1 Romance "We all need someone to drive us mad." - The Wombats. He stared arrogantly down at me, a smirk plastered across his face. I sneered up at him with distaste, wanting to wrap my fingers around his neck and strangle that smirk off of him. He brushed my golden hair from my face, his long, slender fingers sparking electricity in my skin, making my knees wobble together. "Will you ever, forgive me?" he whispered huskily, his eyes intently staring into mine. His face was only mere inches from me. I just needed to reach out a little further to kiss him... "Yeah. Over my dead body." I snapped, before throwing my arms out forcefully, shoving my hands into his chest, pushing him from me. -*-*-*- He, is Carter Williams. I, am Lacey Adams. We were once, inseparable. The 'Golden Couple'. The unbreakable best friends, that everybody envied. Nothing could get between us. A part from being tighter than white on rice, we updated our status from friends to being in a relationship, frequently. We were neighbours, which meant our families were all close and even co-owned houses around our town. This, all is, until the day of my sixteenth birthday. Everything changed. The loving relationship we shared, was severed and torn apart. I couldn't hardly stand to look at him any more, without spitting fire that is. Every day is torture being around him. He was in all my classes at school and the window in my room was even directly aligned with his. So, what happens? My mother's mum gets sick, so dad and her fly out. Just them. Leaving me to stay with Carter and his parents, who are never home. We would be alone. In one house. Under the same roof. If I was insane before, I have no idea what I am now. © 2016 by LaurenJ22. Alice Bowman and Zoey Chase have been best friends since birth. They do absolutely everything together, dating being the only exception. But they don't even do that. These two girls are even the two most popular girls in their school. No, not just their school, their city. They're like local pop stars, and for many reasons. The first reason is probably their drop dead gorgeous looks that any supermodel would kill for. The second reason is their families wealth. Both girls come from families with CEOs as parents. Mansions, a staff, nice cars, everything handed to them. Boys worshiping the ground they walk on for some hope of getting one of the girls into bed. Girls begging them for a moment of their time because they know that if one of these two girls talk to them, they'd be promoted crazy high popularity. Now, I've told you about what they have, but I never said that they want any of it. Because they don't. They don't want the popularity or the high amounts of money or the attention that they receive. They're just two simple best friends who have way too much unwanted drama on their plates.

"Do you want to talk? You know, about everything?" Evan asks. He's staring up at the star-covered sky as he holds our brown bag of French fries. I finish my sip of my vanilla milkshake despite not wanting to stop and follow his gaze. The stars twinkle against the black and wish I had brought my camera. Somehow I thought that bringing it on our maybe-maybe-not date wasn't appropriate. "I don't know," I smile, "everything seems like a lot of talking." Alabama Reed has fooled herself into thinking that this could work and she knows it. With an accident she's trying to downplay and a loss she can't seem to forget, things aren't looking good. So Bam's parents do the only thing they can think of; they take their daughter and drive her halfway across the country to sleepy Mermaid Bay to live in an empty cottage for the summer. Things quickly start looking up when Bam realizes the newspapers don't cover news that happens hours away, but as soon as she starts making friends and secrets of her past start unraveling, Bam finds out that you can't always run from your past - even if you actually run away.
