A story about fairies fighting evil with magic, a battle they've been losing for many years. Jasmine exiled herself, living on her own after her family was brutally murdered. Kidnapped, her captors are bringing her to the evil queen. She wonders why the queen wants her and has much to learn, including just how powerful she is. What's in store for her on this journey? I started writing this story after a hiatus of about 2 years, so the beginning is a bit rough. It gets much better as I find rhythm in writing again, and as this is the rough draft. I have a lot I want to change for the second draft, and a lot of ideas. I changed the name of the story. It's originally published under the title "Halfling" on Wordpress. This is still a working title, I might change it again.
