Following the destruction caused by Grimm overrunning Vale after the catastrophe that was Torchwick's train, a new set of council members have been elected in Vale. This new council has persuaded the other kingdoms to impose harsh segregation laws on the faunus in Remnant due to the chaos caused by the White Fang, causing much unrest within the rebel organisation, and the rest of the faunus population. But something else is amiss. Faunus are going missing, and new Grimm are appearing in unexpected places. Old friendships are pushed to the limit, dark secrets unearthed, and the history of the White Fang and other mysterious figures are revealed. Ozpin advises everyone to leave it to the adults, but when Blake disappears, for team RWBY, there's no holding back. This mysterious vigilante comes with the calling card of black claw marks, and is known as the Black Claw.
