The doctors nicknamed it 'blurry face', and there's absolutely nothing they can do about it; Dan will have to live without faces. That is, until he meets Phil Lester - the 'bad boy' of Dan's new school - who's face is strangely visible to Dan; much to Dan's wonder and Phil's distaste.

Dan is the popular guy who can have anyone he wants. His friend Chris isn’t so sure about that though and makes a bet with him: By the end of term Dan has to make Phil Lester fall in love with him. A/N: There's no selfharm, no depression, no eating disorders, no character deaths, no bullying, no getting beaten up, ... Basically it's just a really cute story with minor drama, which, however, doesnt involve any of things mentioned above.

"Phil what happened?" Dan had said as he looked up at Phil arm. Phil quickly got up. "Oh that.. Um... i fell into a rose bush." Phil had now brought his arm up to his chest and was looking at his wrist. Dan could see him start to tear up. "Phil... you didn't.." Dan had said starting at Phil. Phil stared back, eyes filled with tears. "I did." Phil gasped out as he started sobbing into Dan.
