Jack Gordon has wanted nothing more in his life than to be what his father always thought he could: a writer. After Jack's father mysteriously disappears before the end of his junior year of high school, he decides to document the events of his summer in the form of letters. At first he has a major case of Writer's Block, that is, until he meets Beth Gannon and her best friend, Ellen when they come to vacation in Jack's town for the summer. Ever since her tragic breakup with her boyfriend, Travis, Beth has tried to escape the good-girl persona she's had her entire life. She knows we've only one life to live, so why not choose now to live it? The problem is that Jack and his friends have an awful game that they like to play: One and Done, a series of One-Night-Stands. Jack is given the challenge of sleeping with Beth before she leaves his town or he'll have to give up his reigning spot of captain of the varsity baseball team to his best friend, Chris. He's worked hard for that spot and is determined to keep it. With his newfound interest in Beth, and his newfound interest in finding his father, Jack's summer is about to get a lot more interesting.

Death is ready to visit a new world! Based on the published novel and Wattpad sensation, Death is My BFF is now a webcomic! Experience the story like never before now only on WEBTOON! This is a VERY rough, early draft of "Death is My BFF" and the published version looks very different! :) ****** (2014 WATTY AWARD WINNER!) The legendary Angel of Death has spared Faith Williams' divine soul. However, this merciful act comes at a price. When she turns eighteen, her soul and everything that she is, will belong to him. The problem? Faith's not going to hell without a fight. Death isn't the only creature that has taken notice in her uniqueness. Demons, monsters, one vengeful demi-god, and a notorious playboy are all wrecking havoc on her life. Torn between two worlds, Faith must decide once and for all whom she can trust, and whom she can allow herself to love, before all of hell breaks loose. Even if it means striking another deal with Death. * * * FAQ: HELLO, YOU BEAUTIFUL PERSON! :) You CAN read this story without reading the Original Death series. DEATH IS MY BFF REWRITTEN is a total rewrite of the first draft of "Death is My BFF", which I wrote when I was 14. The ORIGINAL series is on my profile, but it does not line up with this book. Again, the book you are currently on is "Death is My BFF Rewritten," which is part of the Rewritten Death Chronicles, and this book does not line up with the original Death series. Again, the Rewritten Death Chronicles will share similarities to the original series, but should be considered a SEPARATE from the series I wrote when I was 14! Please enjoy!!!!! Xoxo, Katarina E. After her mother and late father, Eileen Belinda Fowler trusted her instinct the most. She had depended on instinct all her life. It was instinct that made her slap her classmate Danny Johnson when he stole her lunch. When she was stuck in a school fire in the second grade, it was her instinct that told her to trust the man offering her a hand, even though she was told not to trust strangers. Instinct was what had her rip the love letter Danny Johnson had given to her, when she was eight, before even reading it. She kicked her stepfather in the shin when he married her mother, purely on the base of—you guessed it—instinct. Similarly, when she found herself trapped in her own house, it was instinct that led her to Danny Johnson’s doorstep. Similarly, becoming a Muslim was also something her instinct had told her to do. Yet, despite all her rash decisions in life, she had yet to experience regret. Oh well, there’s always a first time for everything, right?

Romance and adventure…a trip to where an American tradition began… Libby Edwards, a gifted horsewoman, unwittingly wishes herself back in time to Louisville, Kentucky just before Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby become a reality. During Libby’s journey in the past, she stumbles upon her destiny. Unfortunately, he’s in the wrong century. In 1874, there’s no electricity, no internet, no modern medicine, no antibiotics—no Starbucks! And even worse than that, women have no rights. Libby has no desire to stay. Widower, Colin Thorpe, a renaissance man of his time, has big dreams. He is a horse breeder who names his thoroughbreds after Mythological Gods because he has a reverence for past cultures and an appreciation for the unexplainable. Libby and Colin can’t resist falling in love with each other. After all, Colin accepts Libby for who she is and she understands Colin’s dreams better than his deceased wife ever did. Yet he grasps early on that Libby doesn’t belong in 1874. And because his wife never adapted to the move from Virginia to Kentucky, becoming bitter and unhappy in the process, he won’t take the chance of the same thing happening to Libby. Can these two lovers find a way to be together despite their obstacles?

May Fredericks hates New York. Which is fair enough, since New York seems to hate her back. Just weeks after moving from Wisconsin to Manhattan, she receives the world's worst marriage proposal, stabs her boyfriend with a shrimp fork in a very public venue, and accidentally becomes notorious. And that’s before she gets mugged. At her wit's end, May washes up at a Packers bar in Greenwich Village, where she meets a surly, unhelpful guy who hates her shoes and calls her ex a douche. His name is Ben. He used to be a chef. Now he's a rooftop beekeeper with anger management issues. She wouldn't even like him, but he reminds her of home … and he knows where to find all the best food in the Village. She makes him laugh. He buys her tacos and cowboy boots. The longer they’re stuck together, the better May and Ben get along … and the harder they fall. TRULY is a quirky, modern New York love story unlike any you've read before. ********* About the Serialization TRULY, the first novel in Ruthie Knox’s forthcoming New York Series, will be serialized in its entirety on Wattpad.
