Alice was not surprised to find herself thrown down in the high back plum, velvet & dusty armchair at the oblong handcrafted thick hickory table again, but what she was surprised see was her one time secret crush, The Hatter, sitting on her lap curled up like a cat. "Oh Hatter!" she exclaimed, "You've grown rather...fat." Alice patted his overly grown belly that once used to be quite the impressive 6 pack. His eyes were still the brilliant gentle heavily black lined baby blues though his cheeks were puffier than ever. "You think me FAT Alice?!!!" The Hatter flustered a loud chuckle. "Yes very. & you keep on going on like this my dear sweet Hatter...a heart attack you shall have." Alice snapped back sharp but sweet with a perfected smile. "Read my cards Alice." The Hatter begged as he fanned a ripped deck of Bicycle playing cards fanned in both hands. "I'm sorry dear Hatter. I don't do cards." & at that moment the stars came completely alive in the night sky & the cards flew.

Mia is your average sarcastic, and loud tomboy, just trying to survive the four dreadful years of high school. Mia is a puzzle, that is missing a key piece that completes the whole thing, and the only problem is that, she can't find the piece, as she frantically tries to find the piece to her soul, she ends up falling in love with her best friend Jim, and and the two quickly fall into a heartfelt relationship. Once she realizes this admiration, the piece is found, and Mia was never a Mia to begin with. Horrified with this discovery, she becomes depressed, and wonders if Jim will still love the real Mia, even if she is not female.
