Adeline had never wanted the life that was given to her, she hated who she was supposed to be. She just wanted to be whoever she wanted. She was born into a prophecy that she wasnt even sure would be fulfilled. The prophecy however was the only thing that could save her from the torment her grandfather inflicted upon her. The only part of her life that was worth anything is Donovan, her guard. Adeline is thrust into a world she never could have imagined she'd be apart of.
