A short story I wrote in language arts...enjoy

My name is Ruby. I was born with rare ruby eyes, but I don't know what they look like anymore. I like to believe they're still the same color, but it's hard to when I can't even see. If I asked you the question 'what does the sky look like?' what would you tell me? You would probably say, 'it's blue,' but that's not the answer I want. The answer I would want would be, 'I'll get your sight back so that you can see it yourself.' The only problem with that answer is, it's impossible. .................

In this story a girl named Miranda finds out what power each instrument holds. Living in the band room, technically, she has learned many things. She has heard the different tones, the different sounds, and how the instrument plays depending on who plays it. Will someone get in my way? Will I fail and let everyone down once again. I know I am not very social or good looking, but everyone has a heart. With the help of her friends Mia, Fidel, Ryder, and Elaina they will soon figure out the truth between the connection of people and instruments.
