After finishing a murder case that had taken a bit longer than they were used to, Dani went over to Malcolm's loft for some celebratory hot cocoa. While Dani was at Malcolm's loft though, a massive snowstorm hit, trapping Dani and Malcolm in Malcolm's loft together.

After saving New Orleans from a terrorist's bomb, the NCIS team gets put on administrative leave. Agent Chris LaSalle pulls his partner Sonja Percy into a tender moment, but she needs to process. Events lead them together again, and they finally get away for a quiet ride. But, they soon learn that while they can put away their badges, trouble always finds them. This is a continuation of the persalle love story, 'My Heart is Singing', of NCIS New Orleans Agents Sonja Percy and Christopher LaSalle. Several of the characters and historic information from NCIS New Orleans are woven into this story for continuity to which CBS owns the rights. CBS does not buy stories from anyone not currently on their writing team which is disappointing because there are some really good stories up here. Our loss and theirs.
