Can tells Sanem that he is leaving and she accepts his decision, but not before she gives him a dose of reality. But certain events later unfold and put Can and Sanem back in each other's lives. Can Can forgive Sanem? But even more importantly, can Sanem forgive Can?

To live without her would mean to die a slow death. The Empire and the people dependent on it will surely do without him but he could never do without her. Huma's reach beyond the grave was her final revenge. A house in chaos, a family destroyed and a secret long held. These finally contrive and come together in one person. He has lived his whole life for the moment he could claim wha belonged to him. Tragedy would have its day first but then their would be a reckoning and he would see to it that the one who had ordered it be done would watch as all that mattered to him slowly was taken away. He never anticipated her. She could ruin it all. Her combination of stubbornness, loyalty, faith and love could tear down his carefully constructed walls. Sacrificing her had never been the plan. He would have a life altering decision to make. Our Albatross and Phoenix have set their course and we will follow them as they live a Legendary Love.
