Dear Phil, It's three am. I can't sleep. So, I'm writing to you.

Dan is a firm believer that love doesn't exist. Not in adults, and definitely not in high school. He detests silly love stories and petty relationships, posing as 'love', and nothing could possibly change his mind in that. But when new student Phil takes an intrest in Dan, he can't deny that he's interested in the boy. His bubbly personality and hopeless romantic ways draw Dan in.....and might just change his mind in the thoughts of love.

“Can I please have my crown back”, I asked quietly, a little too quiet for my liking. The boy bit his lip, looking up as if he was thinking, but then he turned to me, leaning down to my ear and letting his lips skim over it. “Well, maybe”, he chuckled, and turned around, but not before muttering, “The name is Phil, by the way”. --- Or where Phil has a thing for Pastel!Dan, but Dan doesn't realize it in till he is at his most vulnerable.

After a break up leaves Phil with an eating disorder Dan feels the need to help and on the way realize they are both broken. That sounds so f***ing lame.... Ok just read and like basic Dan and Phil but I'm doing a non typical plot Warning *trigger warning* because why not. And read and Like and knock yourselves out.

When Dan and Phil decide to make a prank video, they conceive the most brilliant plan. Nothing can go wrong until Dan has to leave for an unexpected trip and Phil is left at home to upload the video. Phil was a bit careless, and uploading and the prank went a bit downhill. How will they dig themselves out of this hole? Dan and Phil are practically complete opposites. Dan likes flowers crowns and pastel colors, his style occasionally getting him mistaken for a girl. Phil is known as the school's punk, complete with the piercings, tattoos, and leather jacket. The two met online, and instantly clicked. Despite their clash in style, they both have nerdy interests. They dream of meeting, though doubt it will ever happen. When Dan is forced to move to a new town, the seemingly impossible becomes possible. Phil is an orphan, bullied, and living alone with no friends in a home. He does his best not to let that fact that no one seems to care about him get to him, but it's getting harder. Then a nice couple start to take interest in him, and it turns out they have a son his age, Daniel, but the love they begin to share isn't of a brotherly nature...

Dan is different. He's learned to accept that. Well, as best he can anyway, considering he's never really had much of a choice. It's been this way for as long as he can remember, the constant runaround process of trying to feel normal. His life is built around it, trying to trick both himself and everyone he interacts with into seeing him as your average person. The isolation as he desperately tries to keep others from finding out, the bitterness that wells up inside of him each and every time he's reminded that he'll never be like everyone else, the fear that nothing will ever change. He's fated to be this way forever; a misfit from society. Isolation can only go so far though, so when he's struggling to make ends meet and he's faced with the option of looking into a serious job or taking on a roommate, he opts for what seems like the easier option at the time. It doesn't seem so easy ten failed roommates into the process, or when he sits down at a table to meet with prospect number eleven and ends up with a coffee spilled all over his lap. Potential roommate number eleven, Phil, turns out to be an insufferable optimistic ball of sunshine that Dan wants nothing to do with. His options are running out though, as are the savings he's been using to pay his rent, so he finds himself begrudgingly agreeing to let the other man move in. Neither of them have any way of knowing just what they've gotten themselves into as they shake on the matter, but time will tell.

Mr Lester is just an everyday history teacher, but when one of his students, Dan Howell, starts to fail his class, he finds out there's an unusual reason why.

Dan is a dancer, but it's his best kept secret. Moving to a new college results in new friends, new hobbies and a new outlook in life; but what does it really mean to be human?
