Rue (v.) to bitterly regret or feel remorse for something Beatrice Levine had a legacy. She played her way up through Arsenal's academy and England Youth groups. She'd won trophies, medals, individual awards, the 2022 Euros. And she did it all alongside Leah Williamson. Beatrice was a ray of sunshine - loved by fans and teammates alike. She worked hard and laughed harder. Her shirt was the highest sold women's shirt in the armoury. Her and Leah were known affectionately for their childhood friendship. She went off the 2023 World Cup as vice captain and a promise to Leah that she'd win it for her. And she never came home. Six months of silence. No football, no social media, no contact with anyone. Not even Leah. The news came in January 2024. Beatrice Levine had signed for Benfica. And half a season later, Barcelona put in an offer she couldn't refuse. Back at the top of her game, and with the 2025 Euros fast approaching, there's only so long Beatrice can avoid her old teammates. With her newfound Spanish friends and a mildly aggressive three legged cat, Beatrice must decide if she's ready to return to the life she once left behind.
