Starting from Steve Rogers very first rejection from the Army in the 1940s and going from there throughout every single film that Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes have appeared in and that does include the current solo Bucky media like The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Thunderbolts* (The New Avengers). I will warn you that this is completely my interpretation of the films so if you do not agree with my philosophy that Steve and Bucky have been secretly dating since the 1940s then just don't read this fanfic.
