When Hope's father suddenly dies, no one can prepare her for the amount of grief she would go through, especially when her grandparents agree to let his organs be used as he was a registered organ donor. Unable to deny her dad's wishes, the organs are used to save lives, but on one condition. She wants to meet the people who are benefiting from her dad's organs but the very last thing she expects is to form friendships or even a relationship out of the heartache of losing her father. One recipient is Cole Mellor; a goofy, gorgeous budding nineteen year old photographer who receives her father's heart. She feels an undeniable connection to Cole, but is that because he has a piece of her dad within him, or are her feelings a lot more to do with Cole himself?

Reece Bremer goes through life with a scowl and cold personality. Jessica Andrews goes through life with a glowing smile and positive outlook. Reece looks at life with dull, judgmental eyes that make him hate the world and the people living in it. Jessica, well... She looks at life through a camera. Literally. They're polar opposites, and that's what sparks Reece's immediate hate for Jessica the moment they meet. All he sees is a girl with the best life, put in the category of those who get everything handed to them on a silver platter. But who says Jessica's life is like that? Just like a photograph, there's more to the story than what you see. Stumbling across one of Jessica's hidden portfolio might reveal that her happiness isn't all that true. Behind that smile and each picture she takes, holds a thousand words of a very big secret - one that Reece is determined to find out. And who knows? It just might change everything between them. cover by dysanic || 2015 watty's winner for talk of the town ||

Caroline Bates lived in New York, but her parents thought it would be a good idea to move to Colorado. With the beautiful scenery, the big hills, and towering mountains. She starts a new school, gets a lot of friends, and even a special someone. She held tightly onto him for a year, but it wasn't enough. He cheated and they broke up. Her grandma thought, along with her parents, it would be best if she went to a place called Georgia to get some fresh air. As if the hills, and the mountains weren't enough? She's been known to leave and push people away before they became too close, except for Luke. He was the boy that had the guts to cheat on her. Her parents owned a little log cabin in the 'backwoods.' She stayed in it for a few days, breathing in the 'fresh air' they said she needed. She had been surviving on her own for a while. After the first three months have passed, she hears a loud gunshot, and goes to investigate. It was a guy. A guy that made the noise. If she hadn't heard the gunshot, then she would've never met Hunter. Never would've laid eyes on the deer hunter, the 'southern boy,' the boy with the 'southern drawl.' He was handsome to her. But he never takes any notice of her, and goes back to his deer hunting. He leaves, and never comes back. They meet again in the town square after Sunday morning church service. He talks to her, saying that he's seen her before. They become friends, but she has to leave soon. He doesn't know though. He thinks she will stay until death. Will she will herself to stay? Or will she go home to Colorado, and forget all about him? Is she his Goodbye Girl? Copyright©Brittney All rights reserved.
