Donate Body to Science. Check. When seventeen-year-old Kaitlyn checked the box, she never suspected she’d have her life–and her body–stolen from her. She awakens one day in a secret laboratory to discover that her body is now half-robot and is forced to hide her own secret: that she still has human emotions and a human mind. If the scientists who made her find out, they’ll erase what remains of who she was. Kaitlyn finds an unlikely ally in Lucas, a handsome, brilliant scientist who can’t get over the guilt he feels knowing she was once a vibrant, beautiful young woman. He never expected a science project to affect him the way she does. As he tries to help her rediscover her past, he finds himself falling for the brave girl struggling to find her place and acceptance between the human and computer worlds. *For mature teens due to some sexual content.

"Her name is Hela," he replied, watching the infant lose interest in the shield and move onto something else. Hela looked up at the mention of her name and the same grin came across her face. The smile reminded the Avengers of Loki, it was clearly obvious. The child seemed more innocent, but she was clearly his daughter. It didn't take a genius to know what they were about to do. The Avengers were about to have their hands full. Loki's only daughter was taken from him when she was just a baby. Her father was a criminal and unfit to care for her, and her mother was dead, so Odin ordered Hela to be sent to Midgard. Thor automatically calls up S.H.I.E.L.D. and soon Hela is being sent there to be raised by the Avengers. How will the young girl turn out being raised by superheroes, and more importantly, how will Earth's Mightiest Heroes fair against Loki's daughter?

Drabbles: Use only 100 words, and tell us a story. That's the challenge, if you choose to accept it. Don't waste words, and use no more and no less than precisely one hundred words. Go! (You'll find mine in the pages that follow) Dabbles: Every so often I deviate from writing what I should be to writing about other things wafting through my mind. I suppose you could call these short stories. Find them in here too.
