Thomas has lived in 'Paradise' for a while. He still has nightmares of Newt. When he figures out Newt is still somehow alive, he needs to see his face again. Brenda is still standing in his way, but Thomas needs to find out where Newt is. He needs his friend. And he needs to see his smile. "I need to find him. I need to see his face. Please. Thomas enters the glade with no knowledge of anything to do with his past. He meets a boy called Newt, the only glader he grows to like, and he realises that Newt is all he has in this strange new world. But what if this boy, Newt, has a darker past then Thomas thought? How would he know, when he doesn't even know his own past? What will the past cause for them? Will they escape the maze, escape the hell? Will they want to? And will they find something they weren't looking for? Will they find love?

The Gladers have escaped the Maze. They're about to start the second phase but soon their journey is moved to somewhere else. To Chicago, to the experiment. Meanwhile Tris is in Dauntless, everything is normal, okay, she is still with Tobias. Soon she is called to train the new Initiates. The Gladers. Thomas knows nothing, Tris knows enough, both of them want to escape, want to be free of this place but can they trust each other? Will they be able to escape?

Just a little fan fiction about Newt and Thomas having a fling, having feelings for each other, and Minho getting hurt and entering the Maze at night. The character personality might be a bit different, but not on purpose. This is the first fanfic I'm pretty serious about, so sorry if it's a bit...juvenile.
