The new year is often seen as a new beginning, a new start. Chris didn't typically see it this way, that was until he met a girl at a New Years Eve party that would come to change his life. Caroline was just like everyone else, she WANTED to be just like everyone else, but there was something about her that made Chris tick, that made him crave her touch, even if it was just her hand in his. Caroline was blind. Only a small percentage of those legally considered blind are COMPLETELY blind, but Caroline fell into that category. Maybe it was Caroline's optimistic outlook on life and the world despite being blind that made Chris fall in love with her. Maybe it was her bravery, her resilience, her independence, her independence - or maybe it was a combination of all of it. All Chris knew was that she was the one for him, and he'd have to do everything in his power to show Caroline that she could trust him and let herself fall in love with him too.

Chris Cerulli's best female friend has been Melanie Dawson since they were in childhood. They never ever saw themselves as anything more than that. They had an absolutely wonderful friendship together though. After being friends for over twenty-five years, they'd been through pretty much everything together. Chris was even up front with the bridesmaids when Melanie got married. Melanie is a pathologist (a doctor that performs autopsies on dead bodies) and is often busy with her work. Chris is obviously busy with the band too, but he and Melanie still managed to keep their friendship in tact and Chris was even close with Melanie's daughter, Sadie, and friends with Melanie's husband, John. After nearly ten years of marriage, Melanie finds herself divorced from John, and on her own with Sadie. So, whenever he is home from tour, one of Chris' top priorities is to help out Melanie around the house, with her dog, and with Sadie. Sadie and Chris are incredibly close. When Sadie was born, Chris was the first one to hold her after Melanie and John. So having Chris around more often is wonderful for Sadie; mostly because Chris is very understanding of her and incredibly open-minded. Sadie is just a bit...different, and Chris is the perfect example for her to show that being different is an okay and good thing. When tragedy strikes, Chris is immediately there for Melanie and Sadie and instantly knows how to comfort them. With being so close to Melanie this often now, Chris begins to realize that maybe, after all these years, he might have been looking at her the wrong way, and feelings may be starting to develop. Could Melanie be the one for him after all?

Chris Motionless first discovered the all-girl metal band, Tag, You're It when they were all on Warped Tour together and he started up a conversation with their drummer, Reed. After discovering that all of the members are female and getting to talk to them here and there over the course of Warped Tour, he discovers that there's something very interesting about them; their singer, Hunter DeMonic, in particular. So, once Warped Tour ends, Tag, You're It is invited to tour with Motionless in White on Motionless' next headlining our. Of course, Tag, You're It agrees to go on this tour. However, the band as currently struggling with some issues with certain members of the band, and it results in them having to get a new bass player for the next tour. This new bass player is Blake, a spunky red-head with a shy personality, but who is killer on stage. Chris notices in himself an attraction to this Blake, but also to Hunter, and he finds himself torn between them. Do either of the members of Tag, You're It have feelings for Chris as well? As he gets to know them on a more personal level, it appears that they may. However. Hunter has a very strict no-dating-members-of-bands-we-tour-with rule due to problems with their old bassist. When Blake feels like love is an actual possibility with Chris, will Hunter allow this rule to be broken? Will the tour turn into a disaster because of this love-triangle? Trust me, this is not your typical band-member-dates-another-band-member story. This one is QUITE different, and you will definitely want to see what happens when Blake LaClarke is brought into Tag, You're It.

Lindsey Audeberrie was a friend (with benefits) of Chris' way back when. However, their "relationship" was very toxic, and it ended on terrible terms. When Chris tries to search for Lindsey again years later to apologize and possibly become friends (just friends, no benefits) with her again, he finds out that she's moved to New Mexico and has started a new life. Chris decides to forget about Lindsey, and moves on with his own life as well. Years later, Chris receives a mysterious email from Lindsey's attorney. And Lindsey is claiming that her thirteen year old daughter, Kaitlin, is also Chris' daughter. And if he is proven to be the father, he must meet Kaitlin and get to know her so that the judge will agree to give parental rights to Chris rather than sending Kaitlin to foster care. Why is this happening? Because Lindsey has leukaemia, and only months to live. Lindsey has no other family to take her thirteen year old daughter in, so Chris is her last hope for Kaitlin to not end up in foster care. Chris of course is surprised, angry, and reluctant. Having expected this, Lindsey and Rachel threaten to go public with the story of Chris' daughter if he doesn't do as they ask. So, seeing no other choice, Chris flies out to New Mexico to meet the daughter he never knew he had. There are of course quite a few problems though. The main one being Kaitlin has literally never heard anything about her father. She literally has heard nothing about him. Ever. So Chris must learn to communicate with Kaitlin in ways he never thought he'd have to, and it changes everything around him.

Chris Cerulli met Naomi Shannon in 2012 on Motionless in White's American Infamous Tour. She was, at the time, doing merch for Stick to Your Guns, and the two of them hit it off immediately. You could easily say that Chris fell in love with Naomi the minute he first laid eyes on her; but Naomi remained completely oblivious to it, even as their friendship grew. Three and a half years later, Chris and Naomi have remained great friends. Naomi had since stopped doing merch and just sort of drifted from place to place - including crashing with Chris when she came into town. Now, however, she's looking to stay in one place for a while; and when Chris informs her that his roommate has moved out, Naomi sees her opportunity. Chris takes Naomi in with open arms, still hopelessly in love with her. He feared telling her his true feelings, out of fear that she wouldn't feel the same and that it would ruin the great friendship that they already had. And so, he continued to watch Naomi live and move on with her life, unaware that her roommate had such strong feelings for her. But what happens when secrets from Naomi's life begin to affect Chris, and he sees no other choice but to help her? Will his feelings be exposed, or will Naomi develop feelings for him on her own?

Do you ever wonder what if would be like if that one thing never happened? What it would be like if that ONE THING turned out differently? Well, now you get to find out! Not in anything related to your own life though. Sorry! In this series of one-shots, you'll get to find out what it would be like if that one thing that you read in one of my stories never happened - or DID happen. Everything from "What if Riley never came out as a lesbian?" to "What if McKayla's cancer HAD come back, rather than her being pregnant?" The final book in the Fatal Trilogy. We're done going backward; it's all forward from here. McKayla gets to go home, and it may be for good this time. She finally gets to marry the man of her dreams, and she gets to start her life over. But will everything go as she planned it? Newly married, McKayla and Chris are still trying to figure out their lives together. McKayla wants many things in life that she feels cancer has taken away from her. Will Chris be able to help her overcome her past and current demons? Or will everything fall apart under the pressure of trying to live another day? Will McKayla get everything she hoped for? Or will Chris want different things? You'll have to read to find out ;)

This is a one-shot. This is one of my writing projects I did for my Creative Writing class. My teacher told us we could do our fiction project based off of a music video so I decided to write mine based off of "Break the Cycle" by Motionless in White! There will be no Behind the Scenes chapter as the process of how I made this is pretty much explained in the summary but read and let me know what you think!
