A gateway to a long-awaited, always-online virtual island (an 'Autonomous World' or 'Permaworld') has opened for those who've found a key. This includes Dan Harvester, a guy who lives in a run-down apartment with his cat and runs a gaming channel. He's almost done playing and testing VR games, but this one could be his final chance to - truly - level up. What can it promise to him, and all its very first 'pioneers'? 'Fountellion'...is said to be 'natural' game-world, a N.E.P. world (Naturally-Evolving PermaWorld) full of artificial life that mimics the laws of our own natural world, with its shaping force of evolution. The game promises to be more than an open-world survival experience, for there are seven 'Insights' scattered and every player can find their own path to them. How much will Dan be changed, by his own search? A game-within-a-game or a simulated homage to the natural world? A complete vision of a 'metaverse' design which overgrows or salvages addicted players? There is only one way to find out: Tune in and experience Dan's 'avalogs'. For only by completing them and the fragments from the development, may you too discover the vision and legacy of 'Fountellion'... Notes: Please be aware this is speculative sci-fi, and includes outlines for an actual game-world within the story. The project is also decentralised and open source. Read also the prequel: 'In THE SPIRAL: Connected Stories & Fragments from a Virtual Future.' And in 2023: 'Through Fountellion: A Personal Story of an 'Ultimate' Game'.... Talk to Greenwise CHATBOT.... the AI / NPC himself via 'Character . AI' and POE.....

Everyone at school knows Andrew Jennings. Missing an arm. Openly gay. But when he meets star athlete Ryan Sullivan in therapy, can friendship lead to more? ***** When Andrew 'Jacky' Jennings ends up in therapy after an English assignment gone wrong, he doesn't expect to find his high school's star athlete, Ryan Sullivan, sitting in the same waiting room. After all, he and Ryan couldn't be more different: football captain, future valedictorian, and all-around nice guy, Ryan is the school's golden boy, while Andrew is known for his permanent snarl, being openly gay, and losing his left arm (along with his father and sister) in a car accident. But when Andrew learns they actually have a lot in common, he's surprised to see past the enigma that is Ryan Sullivan and his seemingly perfect life. And as the two boys begin to connect over their shared grief, depression, and teenage angst, they might just discover a little pocket of happiness for themselves -- if they're willing to fight for it. Unfortunately, the joy is short-lived. None of his peers take the game as seriously and his ruthless tactics only further discourage them from playing. Fed up with playing alone in the game's toxic online mode, he sets out to find like-minded teammates. That's when he meets Lars, an energetic goof with godlike mechanical skill. With Yuel's brains and Lars's brawn, they form a dynamic duo and aim for Classmancers' pro scene. But first, they must conquer the competitive scenes of middle school and high school. There, they'll come face to face with the truth: they're not the only talented players around. Between Aegis, a leader who boasts absolute defense, and Athena, a fox who wraps enemies around her finger, many obstacles await Yuel and Lars on the thorny road to the top.

When Mother Eclair had enough of Amiel Campbell’s mischief, she decided to send a rather prestigious school a letter to amend the sixteen years old attitude, thus the beginning of the worst Amiel thought was the very definition of her town, Harperville. She gets kidnapped by a very hot vampire, very sadistic too, and drags her to Hellfire Academy, which didn’t turn out to be a school for troubled teens, but a school for supernatural creatures with a great hate for humans. And she’s going to be the only human there. The constant death threats, that included something about eating her and using her bones as a toothpick, will be the end of her sanity, plus there’s this upcoming blood week, an annual game in school that can only be won by slaying the voted “King” of every opposing race, and with her being the only person in her race, she gets to be the king and immediate death looms over her head like Death himself was hovering above, ready to decapitate her. What could she possibly do against six other races who want to be the winner and have their wish granted by the Holy Grail? Absolutely nothing. That’s why she’s going to need a hand. Six pairs of hand. One from a loco witch who became an outcast for her dirty tricks. Two from the conceited clan of the vampires; one being an anemic vampire with a great fear of blood, and one who was simply there because he wanted to terrorize the living shit out of Amiel. One from a fabulous fairy who dreams of being America’s next top model and has overdosed from pixie dust. One from a dazzling wolf, with a stomach the size of Jupiter, who had enough of raw steak and prefers human food. And one from a cunning devil because their “King” is an absolute A-hole and this bunch of idiots proves to be a better companion. (She just hopes the idiocy is not contagious.) With only seven to represent the human race, will they survive the Blood Week? Or perish even before the games starts from all these madness?
