Venus liked her small home town in Colorado. She thought nothing could go wrong on a Wednesday, nothing can go wrong on a Wednesday! Boy was she wrong, after her parents won the lottery they packed her bags and sent her to Japan so they could get her out of there hair. Now she stays as an exchange student going to Ouran Academy for her first year of high school. Here she makes new friends and gets to have as much fun as possible! Maybe even love will spark!

Madi came from America with her abusive aunt and uncle after her parents had died in a car crash. After the incident she has turned emo and has spent hiding her life and soul, bruised and scared in shadow. Then her aunt and uncle (having small heart) dropped her off at Ouran academy, telling her to get her own place and to fend for herself. Then she meets the host club. Will the host club boys help Madi bring her soul out of the shadows little by little and clear it of the horrible scars that have haunted her for life?
