Lauren Jauregui is a professional skateboarder, travelling all around the globe. Camila Cabello is a twenty year old girl living in Miami with a simple job and lifestyle. They are old high school friends and one day when Camila get laughed at by her boyfriend for trying to skateboard, she arranges a strategy. She gets Lauren to teach her the tricks of the trade, but is that all she learns?

Camila Cabello and Lauren Jauregui from Miami, Florida both applied to Kensington Academy in England. They both get in and on their first day they meet and find out that they are roommates. Camila is completely mesmerised by Lauren at first sight, but Lauren's too caught up in their first day to notice the younger Latina's attempts to woo her. They, along with three other girls, Ally Brooke Hernandez, Dinah-Jane Hansen and Normani Kordei Hamilton, are the only Americans in the school which is why they are roomed together. The five girls are the only new students in their year, the rest of their year have been together since they began the school when they were five. All five girls grew up around horses and are all very talented. Camila is the opposite of Lauren and tends to always be cranking music whenever Lauren is trying to study. They don't get along at all, fighting constantly over the smallest of things. They have to settle their difference or talk to an RA about getting a new roommate, but both are too stubborn to give up their room. Do not duplicate this story.

Camila and Lauren are neighbors who used to be friends before high school began. Lauren has always had a thing for Camila, but never got the courage to tell her before going their separate ways.
