"Foxer Howler" is a young adult fiction about a girl who is like a werewolf but not quite. Melody Smith is a 14 year old girl who is a Foxer. Foxers are like werewolves but you end up at a fox instead. When Melody undergoes her first transformation all things go downhill from there. Her best friend, Melissa, doesn't know what she is but that doesn't mean that she can't find out. The easy way, or the hard way. When Melody runs into some trouble with other Foxers, life takes a turn for the worst, which leaves Melody fighting for her life.
