It's been two years since the gang finally settled in their home world, Mobius. There has been nothing but peace, a sort of peace that bored Sonic and left him craving Amy's company. Everyone has just gotten used to a "normal" state of life. But when a strange ancient canine clan is suddenly after Sonic, the gang must go on a dangerous journey across Mobius, on a quest for the Gems of Hope. Will they be able to make it in time? And will Sonic and Amy's new relationship last, even when he starts to lose his sanity?
