It's been Four years since Skai Mitchell ran away from home, leaving the girl she loved and the nightmarish childhood past behind. Skai's new life consists of multiple unreliable part-time jobs, and a handful of casual one-night stands, but when Skai stumbles across a book written by a familiar name, she makes a decision that will change her life forever.

Skai was the kind of person that did reckless things just to be able to say that she had done them. I was the kind of person who liked to stay at home, and just read about people like Skai. Adventure, recklessness, it was never really my thing. But, Skai was different, and I was intrigued. I never really understood how much I had been missing until I met her. This is a story about my newfound, crazy, reckless, life. And a story about the girl that dragged me through it.
