Now each time she pulled that dreaded lever, she would look away, to avoid watching the gruesome deaths. She couldn't take it anymore. This filly wanted out. But there was one problem... Becoming an employee of the upper Rainbow Factory means sacrificing any life outside those black walls. Workers are sworn to secrecy and forbidden from leaving, and live inside the facility itself. Those few who ever manage to make it out not in a body bag are twisted and disturbed, too damaged to ever bring themselves to talk about it. There is no escaping the factory... Or is there? So you may ask, why am I telling you this? Why do you care? Well, I felt that this story needed to be told. It's the story of the pony who DID escape. The pony who saved one filly's life, and later, the lives of thousands more. This is the story of a pony who shut down one of the most dangerous facilities in Equestria. And if you haven't already guessed it, that pony is me. My name is Moonlight Mystery, and this is the story of my life. My life, which would have been nothing if I hadn't woken up from this horrible place. All these years, I've stoked the fire, seen more pain than you could ever know...The tears of the broken, have washed away my soul. Now I'm pushed by desire to change the way my stream will flow, because now I'm Awoken, and I'm taking back control.
