Ariya Shield is one of HDD's, Head Detective Department's, best agents. At 30 years of age she has surpassed even the best of the best in the Law Enforcement ranks. She is the one they pull in on high profile serial cases, kidnapping cases, hell, anything that requires her skills. When a serial killer strikes and takes the life of a detective's daughter, Shield is sent in to keep the department running and to capture, as the media have labelled him, The Serial Artist. Sadistic, shocking and padded cell worthy, The Serial Artist will have a serious problem on his hands now that Shield is involved... Or will it be the other way around? And in the midst of this serial concoction, how will Shield handle Niklaus Carmicle? The gorgeous, brooding, heart-wrenchingly damaged brother of the latest victim? Especially when her own past shows how damaged her own heart is... how damaged she is... Will Shield stop The Serial Artist? Will she guard her heart against Niklaus or let herself fall in love? But if she does fall for Niklaus... Will he catch her, or let her fall and break beyond repair? READ TO FIND OUT! THIS IS R-RATED FOR A REASON. Stereotypes. I hate them. On my first day at my new school, a girl in a blue and white cheerleader's uniform told me I 'looked like a cheerleader' and asked me to come to tryouts. I almost decked her. Blonde hair and blue eyes do not a cheerleader make. Cheerleaders can be bitchy and mean but they can also act all happy and excited and they can drool and swoon over Finn Wallace – the hands-down hottest guy in school – like there's no tomorrow. Me? Well, I'm just bitchy and mean. So someone please tell me why Finn Wallace is suddenly chasing after me? *This is NOT a Bridgit Mendler fan fiction* Copyright © 2013 CrayonChomper
