Skyla the almost ordinary, unpopular school girl is out to save a world she just accidentally discovered. Skyla grins at fear. laughs at danger and wants to have the skill of a assassin. Despite this she gets bullied, picked on, and alienated from groups of kids at school. Things take a turn when Skyla and her friend Mark get thrown into a brand new world full of dragons, elves, dwarfs and faries. Where they are the heroes.

When Alex, and Drew set that prank up they thought it was harmless, not something that would set the whole school building on fire. Now they're both being shipped of to a Summer camp that is supposedly going to whip them into shape. The strict rules are nothing but crushing to the two boys that is until, operation Brighton is born. The name is based of a operation from one of Drew's favorite video games, the plan is to pull off their famous pranks, without getting caught by the supervisors, and slowly break every signal rule. However not everything is as uninteresting as it seems at this camp, and Alex finds a world he never knew existed, one the supervisors are desperate to keep hidden.

An economic downfall leaves Gerard Everwood in the iron grip of an apocalypse. The man decides that his harsh upbringing can be used in this new world, so he becomes a bandit and robs and murders for survival.
