Frecklekit is found freezing in a blizzard by two ShadeClan warriors; Moonsong and Shadowfang. They decided to adopt him as their son and raise him. Little did the two toms know, this young kit's path was clouded by darkness, and he would carry trouble on his shoulders like a storm.

a cold leafbear day, a set of kits are born in Shadeclan camp. Heronkit and Blossomkit. It is from this day forward our story goes, following young Heronkit as he grows up and eventually, makes the largest mistake of his life at only 12 moons of age......
