This is the story of my life, but I wish it wasn't. I wish my life was different. Well, I used to. I am writing this to tell you that life is a gift. I want to show people that my life hasn't been a fairytale, but I made the best out of my situation. If I wasn't in that car crash, I could be living with my mom and dad in a nice cozy house, with lots of friends. That didn't happen at first, but with time, I celebrated my parents instead of pitying them. I used to think, oh I wish to just live the life I never had. Now, I've come to the realization that life is a gift, so live it to the fullest. Don't look back.

I moved a lot. And by that, I mean a lot. This also means I have no place that was special to me. That is, until I moved to Tennessee. I finally had made a couple friends, and I had found an amazing hang-out place in the forest behind our house. But I knew it wouldn't last long. Just when my parents told me we were moving again, the forest revealed some secrets I never would've thought were real. But they were real, my parents convinced me of that. Is anything what I thought it would be? Were my friends actually loyal to me all along, were my parents actually my real parents, was the place where I loved to hang out connected to me in a way? But the most important question running through my head was "Do I actually belong here, or do I belong to the Forgotten Forest?" I own everything! It's realistic fiction most of the way, but magic plays a big part in this. So technically, it's fantasy!
