"Get the fuck out of my house!" my dad shouted. "Gladly. But, before I go, I have just one thing to say; you've never been a good father. You've always treated Poppy and her mother like absolute shit." "You know nothing about being a father, you little prick!" "Yeah? Well, your innocent little girl calls me daddy when I fuck her from behind, so that's close enough for me," Knox spat before hauling me out of my seat and leaving. *** Ever since Poppy Nicole was little, she's been a shy girl with a heart of pure gold. Her innocence is glaringly obvious and she has nothing but the best intentions for everyone on her mind. Everyone has always loved the sweet-minded girl. Knox Carmichael is Charleston, South Carolina's resident bad boy and infamous hell-raiser. He's been on a first-name basis with law enforcement since the young age of ten-years-old. Before his parents became fed up and sent him away to military school when he was fourteen, one of Knox's favorite pass times was taunting his one and only Poppy. Poppy's life was going great. Fantastic even. She was accepted into the local university aside her best friend - and Knox's little sister - Kiara and she couldn't wait to get a start on her nursing studies. But then life takes a turn for the worst as the devil himself shows up unannounced to their dorm just as the girls are unpacking their belongings. Poppy hopes that Knox has grown up and put an end to his torturous ways. If only she knew just how wrong she actually was. If only she knew he was back for one thing, and one thing only. To take what is, and always has been, rightfully his; Poppy. COPYRIGHT AuthorrUnknown ALL RIGHTS RESERVED **STORY WILL CONTAIN STRONG LANGUAGE, VIOLENCE, AND SEXUAL THEMES. "And when you fall into the House of Worlds, there's no coming back." Some people call it the House of Worlds. Others call it hell. House of Worlds. Land of Dimensions. Holder of All Living Things. This is the bond that connects everything of existence. All worlds, all dimensions. Everything and anything connected by this one object that appears in each and every world. A teleportation system that can bring the holder anywhere in existence. But what happens if a being, greater than all the Gods and Demons of all the dimensions combined is dedicated to destroying as many of the links as possible, creating a chain reaction, destroying everything that is connected to the House of Worlds. Or rather, everything in existence. JJ has known fear. Two years ago, he was trapped in the House of Worlds, nearly died, and was possessed by the very spirit that knows how to stop the destruction of the existence. Ikita has known loss. Two years ago, Ikita's best and only friend was lost into the House of Worlds. Having recently lost her older sister, Ikita, now 15, finds herself trying not to drown in the whirlpool of suffering when an unexpected and deadly chance to become more than who she tries to be appears. Kadir has known change. Thirteen years ago, Kadir was taken from his family and home and stranded in the deserts of Faier. Welcomed into the local pack of orphans, he came to call this new place his home. When war strikes his home, everything changes for the worse. Now, with the Masters about to obliterate everything in existence, Kadir doesn't know who to trust. Shiza has known abandonment. Sixteen years ago, her parents made a deal with a God that went awry. She raised herself from the age of one, with no family. A slap in the face that the God who killed her parents is the one that gives her the powers of a Goddess. Given all the riches she could desire, she finds that all she really wants in the world is to go home.

Highest ranking: #1 in Teen Fiction -- "Sunshine, what guy do you know has a weird fetish with sign language?" She's the aftermath of a high school party nightmare. Tragedy robbed her of her innocence and stole her voice before she had the chance to speak out. The court called her a liar, and the guilty was set free. Now memories plague her mind and trap her in solitude. She was forced to learn sign language, struggling to find a way to voice her silence. He's the definition of the boy she tried to stay away from. The epitome of harsh rumors and hopeless fantasies. The source of lies and blame. He's analyzed, misunderstood, and utterly mysterious. And he may be the one to find her voice. When they meet, she gets accustomed to his arrogance and he gets accustomed to her silence. An essay is what brings them together, but what happens when he starts asking too many questions? Will her past continue to drag her down, or will he save her? Fate has a funny way of bringing people together, but it doesn't always work how it's supposed to. *different summary inside* "Perfect amount of tragedy, humor, and romance!" -Sparkles530 "I feel like I learned a lot from your story, thank you." - 980Sarah "This book is beautifully written. [A Wattpad FEATURED story!] She's been King Thranduil's close friend for a long time. But when a shocking rumor about his past comes to light, it shakes her entire world. How well does she really know him? With the threat of war and an uncertain future for the Woodland Realm, her comfortable life is changing forever, and so are her feelings for her friend. A story about second chances with eventual romance. Set during the events of the Lord of the Rings. Thranduil/OC Disclaimer: Everything belongs to Tolkien except for my characters. A/N: It was before Christmas 2014 when I first watched BBC's Emma with Romola Garai (wonderful, by the way - watch it if you haven't). A few days later I went to see The Hobbit BOTFA on its opening night. It was during a car trip from a family Christmas party when I came up with idea for this story. And while it doesn't follow the Jane Austen classic completely (Thranduil is no Mr. Knightley!), it was certainly inspired by it. I enjoyed the challenge. Check out the FB page for the story: facebook.com/StarsofVardafanpage/ (thanks to @MaggieShivers for creating it and running it!)
