In a post first-contact world, 17 year old Wilf flees NYC in search of work. He soon finds himself entangled in a web of violence and domination in a small northern mining town. Torn between a nascent Resistance fighting for human freedom and an attractive but vicious alien soldier who can protect him, he struggles with how to best stay alive.
