After a tough start in life Faith finally manages to get herself into a college. Niall Horan is instantly mesmerised by her beauty but soon discovers she's incredibly hard to talk to, she flinches at sudden movements and loud noises and will never look him in the eye. Niall tries discovering what's wrong with her, the whole truth comes out at a party when Faith is drunk, but Niall only thinks she's overreacting. Until Faith gets kicked out her home a few days later being told never to return, she has no where to go.
