Kellin's parents are doing a horrible job... at being parents. They ignore him and Kellin's friends are practically non-existent. So he draws; people, nature, anything. Anything to just escape the reality for a little while and lose himself in the world of sharpened pencils and smudged lines. He loves drawing and no one's gonna change that, not even Vic Fuentes who so unexpectedly enters Kellin's life. I'm not really good at writing descriptions so JUST READ THAT DAMN STORY!!! Vic Fuentes never thought anything bad would happen to him. He had a pretty decent life; star-player of the soccer team at his high school, good grades, girls swooning over him. Vic never really took danger precautions seriously. One drunken night, he’s dared to go into the woods alone in the middle of the night while drunk to sleep there. That’s the night when his mindset about danger changed. Kellin Quinn-Bostwick was always the loner boy. His life was as low as someone’s life could get; abusive parents, bad grades, no friends. He was also openly gay. People never tried to tease him or taunt him about it; or about anything, for that matter. Everyone knew Kellin could kill–literally. He watches Vic and his drunken friends near the woods and decides, without thinking, how to ruin their night. He doesn’t know it yet, but Kellin only made Vic’s night better. Vic has been through a lot in the past few days. He lost his best friend and almost took his own life. That's why he ended up in a psychiatric hospital. Kellin has been in the hospital for 20 days now but that's okay, he doesn't want to go home to his abusive family.
