This is a short message to the reader of this story. If you are the sort of person that believes that the world we live in has no secrets left. That there are no real mysteries any more, and that rational thought and the word of science has explained and discovered everything of any real worth, then I would suggest you move on from this story, and never let it enter your thoughts again. If however, you are the sort of person that still believes our world is one of hidden mysteries and secrets, then I would suggest you read on. We live in a world where the word of science dominates, and where each one of us arrogantly believe we understand everything that is worth understanding. But this couldn't be further from the truth. There are secrets, and mysteries everywhere, you just have to know where to look. They reside behind that door which hasn't been opened for years, and in those woods that send a shiver down your spine for no obvious reason. They are responcible for that creak on the stairs in the dead of night, and in that tree that suddenly dies without warning. Every place has its secrets, some are just buried deeper than others. And some secrets can be so bizarre, the rational of mind would be unable to comprehend. The thing about secrets though, is that eventually they emerge on to the surface, unable to be kept hidden any longer, and when that happens, all hell can break loose.
