You know that feeling of going through old notebooks and scrap pierces of appear and finding writings or letters, that you wrote earlier in life? Sometimes you may not understand why you wrote such a thing or you may still agree with your old thoughts. Sometimes you may not even remember writing it. For me, I have short term memory loss and I found my poem book. So, reading the poetry in it is like reading it for the first time and I would like to share it with you. These are my old thoughts, my antique thoughts...

Life throws us so many moments, sometimes it's hard to comprehend what we want to remember and what we want to forget. Either way, remembering or forgetting, that moment happened & how we face reality is up to us. This is poetry I wrote, based off of how I choose to face reality

though the fire dies down to ash, the embers can again be rekindled.

When Katie is found in her apartment with a dead stranger, she is under arrest for the strangers murder. The only thing that Katie knows or remembers is that she is not a killer and someone framed her. When detective brings Katie down to the station for an interrogation, Katie escapes on the way and is now on the run from the police and wanted all in every county for murder. Meanwhile, the detective attempts to convince Katie's family that she killed someone and the real murderer is on the loose. With no where to go, Katie hides in the woods and runs, hoping that her sister who is currently in law school will find the true killer before the killer comes back for Katie. This is a mystery/thriller and also poetry.(This book tells the story through poems of different characters perspectives)
