After World War 3, the United States have been destroyed completely. A new nation has been formed, Ample, meaning plentiful, a nation that provides for everyone's needs. They are divided into 8 sectors and one of them has the power over the rest. The citizens of Ample take an annual Biopsychology Test where they test their human stability, it's mandatory for all 18 to 25 year olds. It tests each person's sanity, while finding out about any illegal activity. None of the sectors are allowed to make contact, they are only allowed to stay beyond the sector. If laws are not obeyed , they are to be kicked out and left to the gutters. It is Lida Caltor's job to find out who is controlling all of these sectors and the answers to her questions. Why did her mother die so early? Why is there so much fear going around? And lastly, Why is she falling in love?

People with long term use die when the brain finally shuts down from excessive usage. Death Statistics: 89.7 %. Those who refuse to use it are ripped from their homes, along with their families and used as test subjects. Death statistics: 96.8 %. There is no winning for the people who refuse to use it. There is only a daily struggle to stay alive and sober. Those people are called rebels. Nona fled from her mother at eighteen taking her then infant sister, Ava, with her. Eleven years later, Nona has tried her best to live in isolation with her sister to hold back the disgusting truth of Outulia- but with Nona being a hired gun, skilled fighter, and acrobat, Ava has already sensed the reality of their life…and she’s hungry for it. The only thing Vasille is hungry for is revenge. The morning he and his family were ripped away from their homes marked the beginning of a blood slaughter for him. He was starved, tested, and beat when he refused. So when an anonymous man promised him revenge and offered him a safe place to live and food to eat, he accepted with welcome arms. There was only one catch, he had to find allies. This is a story of betrayal, injustice, love, trauma, and beauty.
