Thranduil has been depressed ever since his wife, Almwen was killed long ago. And now, the only one who brings him comfort is his daughter Emarilia, because she looks so much like her mother. Though he can be hard on her sometimes, She still loves him with all her heart. Sadly he almost loses her a few times from the evils of her past, but Thranduil swears to protect her from all harm.
