The first in a series of books covering the life of Howell Crossed-Daggers, "Owl-Heart" is a short fantasy work which explores the return of a young man to his home. Howell, the third born son of a prominent noble, had departed his homeland some years prior, forsaking his privileged upbringing to pursue a life of artistry and bohemian bliss. Beseeched by letter to return to his war torn home, Howell endured the long trek back to the province of Skyrim, only to find himself engulfed in a web of politics, intrigue, deceit, and ancient feuds.
