Can Fate bring two broken hearts together?

Frank is a lonely teen with only one friend in his last year of high school, Jamia. But when Jamia passes away Frank falls into drugs and alcohol very quickly. Now with no one by his side, he is left alone in school with nothing to do but dwell in his depression. Gerard on the other hand, is a "mysterious" vampire and only communicates with his brother Mikey. Quite sassy around his brother, but mute around anyone else. Frank notices Gerard one day while walking home from school, and ever since then he couldn't get his mind off of him.
