"Why do you call me that?" "Everyone has been calling you Snow Queen since you transferred schools and you're just now asking why?" he asked incredulously. "Yeah, I guess I am." He looked straight into my eyes and said, "It's because you're like snow; beautiful and cold."

Erica Wellington is an aspiring and unknown actress. A very, very unknown actress. But when she finally lands the lead role in an upcoming romantic comedy, she makes sure to create a set of concrete rules for herself before she screws up her big chance. Since "screwing things up" is right up there on her list of talents. Right after acting. Rule Number One: Never (emphasize on the never) fall in love with your co-star, especially when that co-star has an extremely pretty girlfriend. Should be the easiest rule to follow, right? Especially when he is so very well aware of his Grade 'A' physical appearances, and just plain rude as Daniel Anderson is. Who would fall in love, or even like, this narcissistic Hollywood actor, anyway? Certainly not Erica Wellington. But as she progresses along her first movie, and accidentally finds out some heartbreaking secrets about Daniel Anderson, she realizes that, unfortunately, 'Rule Number One' is getting a lot more difficult to follow.

Monophobia- an acute fear of being alone and having to cope without a specific person, or perhaps any person, in close proximity. This 'closeness' might mean in the same house or flat or even in the same room. Seventeen year old Carriel Carter is as inexperienced as can get when it comes to relationships or anything romance related. All thanks to the asshole she's known since childhood who goes by the name Tristan Starkz. Tristan never misses any opportunity to not only harass her, but make her life a living nightmare. But when desire flares between them and Tristan's once teasing looks turn to heated passionate gazes, things are borne to get complicated. Especially when Tristan starts acting strange and weird things start happening everywhere he goes. Then new guy arrives in the form of Colton Delango and sets his sight on Cariel, things start spinning out of control. MAJOR hidden secrets start unraveling and her world slowly starts to fall apart. I have so much in my head so far going for this story that if I were to write a decent summary, I'd not only give away the main points but end up giving myself a headache. So just read on. It will be unique I'll give you that. So just try it. ***••All rights reserved. No part of this story may be reproduced or transmitted in any form without written permission from NaughtyRosie!••***

I could feel the stares of the other people riding the flight to England today. I could feel their hatred slamming into my body. Unfortunately, empathy was not my magical power, or else I wouldn't be in this situation. I would be at my home, with a family that would actually love me. I wouldn't be on this plane, wishing that my whole life was just a dream. That I would finally wake up and have the powers I was supposed to have been born with. Unfortunately for now, I was being forced to leave my home to live with the Silents, those without any magic. They were referred to as the Silents because when you listened to their heartbeat you could not hear the sounds of magic. The Silents have all been rejected from the rest of normal society. Like I am soon to be.

Delaney Escott lives in a world where popularity reigns supreme. If you want to be noticed, social status is everything. The government is run by the Superiors: a very exclusive group of individuals who are virtually flawless. They are smarter than us and stronger than us, and to join their ranks is the highest honor. The Superiors pay an annual visit to the top schools in the nation and evaluate the students, choosing one boy and one girl - the most Popular in the school - to go the Capitol and train for Superiority. Delaney thinks that she's the only one indifferent to (and perhaps even suspicious of) the Superiors, until Caleb Payne, the most popular boy in school, approaches her with a request. He has a task for her, one that he believes she is uniquely capable of completing. And as she helps him, Delaney discovers that the government is hiding many secrets - and that the truth of the Superiors is far from what people believe it to be.
