This short poem was written in the spirit of William Carlos Williams in response to my daughter’s Facebook inquiry, “How can I give a statement as to the subject of the poem if no one knows what the poem is about?” This is humor folks so don't take it as a critique of anybodies work; past, present or future, and a tip of the hat to Konstantsia for introducing me to this style of poetry.

In the mid 1980's (when I was Young) I entered a poetry competition for The International Year Of Peace, the winners of which would be published in an anthology with a foreword by the then poet laureate Ted Hughes. My good Wattpad friend Lisa, asked to see these poems and I have included the foreword because I know a number of poets on here have written on the theme of war themselves and may find his views interesting.
