And more importantly...three thousand, two hundred and eighty six miles away from her boyfriend & best friend, Ash. Ash has fallen hook, line and sinker for his best friend - Lou. These past few months with her have been the best of his life. He never thought in a million years he'd ever feel like this for someone, but Lydia holds his heart & now that he has her, he's terrified someone will try and take her away from him. And with Lydia leaving for New York for three months, he's scared the Big Apple could change things for them. But he knows this internship for Lydia is the real deal and the start of something huge for her, he won't let himself or his fears stand in her way. Even though he knows he'll miss her like crazy, he's making sure she gets on that plane. Things for Ayla and Fin have just begun. They're starting to find out everything about one another, learning what makes each other laugh & whether if it's more than just a 'spark' between them. But will three months & 3,000 miles apart be too much for the new couple? Follow Lydia & Ash's relationship along with Ayla & Fin's as they both try to make things work with an ocean separating them. Throw in some attractive co-workers, late nights in the office and more than a few bottles of Tequila and see how tensions rise between the two couples. Some say 'Absence makes the heart grow fonder.' But others say 'Out of sight, out of mind.' Which statement proves right? |Credit to @lostinWonders for the cover|

Assalamu Alaykum. Peace be upon you. The journey that each of us embark on when looking for love is as unique as the prints at the tips of our fingers. The quest for love, although in hindsight may seem to be a beautiful thing, in reality can be a dangerous path to take. Hira and Amir's journey is no different. Two young people walking towards a union neither of them wanted can only mean impulsive decisions, regretful actions and a hurricane of raw emotions. Hira is not looking for marriage, nor is Amir. So how exactly do they end up happily married a few short months after their first ever encounter?

This poem was inspired by the movie 'The Vow'. I really loved that movie. The last sentence honestly broke my heart For those who don't know what the last sentence was, it went something like this: "The couple, that this movie was inspired by, today is happily married and they have two kids, but her memories never came back." You must really love one person, to actually accept the fact that all of your old memories are somewhere deep in your heart, but not in theirs too. Also the fact that they started everything all over again and gave each other a second chance, makes it even more perfect than it already is. I could vent on and on about this movie, but I guess that's not the point of this description. Moving on; I'm well aware that my poem isn't exactly the same as the movie and maybe some of you may even think that it doesn't have anything in common at all, but this is just my point of view and I think I gave a little bit of myself into it. I'm also aware that a lot of things in my poem do not even rhyme and that my writing is not as graceful as it could be, but I'm trying to improve it. If you read this, you are awesome *throws flowers at you*
