But when she meets the guy in the ice cream shop, things start to change. It's not long before she lands herself a job, a new set of friends and maybe even the beginnings of first romance. For the first time in several years, she's happy. But Flo knows all too well that things can't stay perfect forever, and after all, being on top of the world only gives you further to fall.

Mackenzie is the kind of girl that is used to being the outcasted kid, content to just hang with her handful of great great friends and be herself. But the kids at her school were never okay with that. If asked they will all reply that they had nothing against her, but that doesn't speak for how they treat her. Mackenzie has been harshly bullied since fifth grade, to the point that she had to switch schools, but they have only made her more determined never to stray from who she is. But, that was until she got the 'privilege' to meet One Direction, the band so famous for their hit songs and tremendous amounts of fan fiction scouring the web. Everyone fell for them and wanted them to sweep them away in their arms to a paparazzi documented love. Everyone but Mackenzie. She didn't get what all the fuss was about, why fall for someone you'll probably never even see face to face just because they can sing? Then Lauren, Mackenzie's best friend, won some backstage passes to their next concert on the radio. Little did she know that her life would change forever when they met back stage, not just with One Direction, but an unexpected surprise along with it.
